Localized, Native Branding for a Chinese Audience
The client provides boutique, luxury hotels at select locations around the world. With the opening of a brand-new location in Southern China, the client wanted to ensure a successful marketing campaign to promote the appropriate branding for this new location. The client retained Shoo-In Media to manage its search (Baidu SEO) and branding efforts for geo-located areas.
Shoo-In developed a comprehensive SEO evaluation and identified niche communities of frequent travelers, subsequently developing the appropriate keywords based on trend forecasts. Various content pieces were created based on client’s branding guideline (that was localized specifically based on this city’s cultural history). Within the given timeframe, the client successfully ranked 3 out of top 5 positions on the first page of Baidu.
